Science Communication is Important Too!

Our team prioritizes environmental sustainability through the means of technological advancements, but what good are those advancements if they aren’t heard by the public? This is where science communication becomes essential. Science communication involves catching the wandering eyes of peers and raising awareness of science-related topics in a way that general audiences can relate to and understand. Here, the science communications team strips away the jargon and reframes the information for the best interest of audiences. The website allows for our team to post updates about our research and makes them accessible for all to see. This is the role of science communication. 

Science communication contextualizes research and produces waves of information that then spread to newfound audiences. The possibilities seem limitless when science communication is used with integrity. It allows individuals to create and share content surrounding innovative topics, which gets everyone involved.  

Not only is science communication imperative to better our knowledge of scientific information, it can generate inspiration and incentive within audience members.
